I haven’t written a bullet style blog post in a while and can’t think of any one thing to write about so here we go.
- Neil and I have lived at the lake for a week and a half now and it’s already feeling like home.
- We had my friend Amy and her fiancee Scott over for dinner last Friday night. I made a homemade apple pie for the first time and it went over extremely well. So well in fact that Neil asked me to make one for him tonight and I’m making one for my girlie Christmas party this Friday.
- A couple of days ago I ordered The Contour ab belt because it’s on special and because I was bored. Well, it came in the mail today and I tried it. It felt….weird. I can’t tell on the low setting whether it really works or not but I’m planning on using it once or twice a day for the full 30 days, see if it works, and then send it back. I like reviewing products and this was something that I could possibly gain from. I’ll let you know what I think as the 30 days goes by.
- I finished all my Christmas cards today! W00t! Sending them out tomorrow morning so if requested one, expect it in the next few days. I have received Pam’s, Megan’s, and Erin’s Christmas cards and they are all lovely. I’m looking forward to getting more in the mail in the coming days. I LOVE Christmas cards
- I’m hosting a girlie Christmas party Friday. Dinner is at 7 ish and everyone is either bringing a dish or coming early and making it here. Counting me there will be 10 women here. 10. Neil doesn’t know how appreciative he will be that I made him go hang out with a friend of his. Most everyone is staying the night and that’s when the real craziness will ensue. Elf, The Grinch, and Love Actually. Trashy Christmas sweaters. Dirty Santa. Alcohol. And so much more. Expect far too many incriminating pictures.
- This coming Sunday is Christmas Cantata Sunday at my church. According to my mom this will be the 8th year that I’ve sung in the Christmas Cantata. I have several solos and a few duets but I’m not worried about any of them. It’s a lot less stressful when you’re standing with everyone else, like I will be, instead of when I normal sing a solo at church- standing up at the podium by myself with only the piano accompaniment.
- I’ve already started my list for my New Year’s resolutions for 2010. I don’t think it will be long but it will be heavy.
- Speaking of New Year’s – What does everyone have planned? Neil and I are planning on visiting our best friends Megan and Bryan in Louisville for 3 or 4 days. Should be fun, nice, and relaxing.
Happy Hump Day everyone!

Lol…The contour?
I’m sorry, I just had to laugh at you briefly… ALL DONE! This will be the first upcoming year that I do not plan on writing resolutions.
